Leigh Powis
The first few years of his life, Leigh lived in the French Alps, in Chamonix. Then his family moved to the UK and he was in shock, that not the whole world consists of snow-covered mountains.
At a reasonable age Lonan decided to check out the mountains of British Columbia, Canada. There he first started a career as professional skier, but after some breathtaking accidents he switched to becoming a great director.
This decision paid off! He was able to combine his love for sports and nature with storytelling, so it was just a matter of time when he would win his first awards.
Within a short period of time, he directed commercial films for big brands like Oakley and The North Face. He loves to pump up his ads with strong VFX and this gives his projects a unique look and feel.
